Within an easy drive you can visit over 30 shops in Chimney Rock Village or the world famous Doncaster Outlet in Rutherforton. Going further you can choose the unique shopping areas in Asheville, Hendersonville, Tryon or Black Mountain.

Chimney Rock Village
Located just outside Chimney Rock State Park (about a twenty minute drive from the Resort) is a small village with many unique shops and restaurants. Guests may park and walk up and down each side of the village or along the shores of the Rocky Broad River which flows through the village. Most shops and restaurants here here are open daily in season and the village is always busy. Arrive early to avoid traffic and plan to spend several hours here.

Doncaster Outlet
A true gem for shoppers awaits in the nearby town of Rutherfordton. The Doncaster Outlet carries fine ladies fashions with the private Doncaster label. Doncaster clothing is typically only available through private showings from the independent Doncaster network, making this outlet shop a special find for ladies of all ages. Many guests make a day out of the visit with lunch at the delightful Water Oak Restaurant adjacent to the outlet. You should expect a 20 minute drive from the Resort to Doncaster and may find more information by calling (828) 287-3637. The Doncaster outlet is open daily; hours vary by season.
